The plain-English version: Avocado Toast is for venting about home prices, not for making real-estate decisions. Listing info comes from third parties and can be wrong or stale. Comments are anonymous opinions, not facts, and not ours. Follow the Community Rules, or we’ll remove your content. Nothing here is professional advice of any kind.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By using the Avocado Toast app or getavocadotoast.com (together, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Community Rules, which are part of these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service. The Service is operated by Selleck Ventures LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company doing business as Avocado Toast App.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If Apple’s age rating for the app is higher, that rating governs.

3. What the Service is (and isn’t)

Avocado Toast displays information about homes listed for sale — prices, days on market, price history, and similar details — alongside anonymous community discussion. It exists for commentary, community, and entertainment.

We are not a real-estate brokerage, and we are not your agent. Using the Service creates no client or agency relationship with anyone.
Nothing in the Service is professional advice — not real-estate, financial, legal, or tax advice. Talk to licensed professionals before making decisions about actual property.
Listing information comes from third-party data sources and may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. A home shown as active may be sold; a price may have changed; toast math is satire. Verify anything that matters independently.
Comments are the opinions of anonymous users, not statements of fact and not the views of Selleck Ventures LLC. We do not endorse, verify, or adopt them.

4. Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content within the Service so the app can work. You are responsible for what you post, and you promise it doesn’t violate the law, these terms, or the Community Rules.

5. Moderation

We may remove or hide any content, and may restrict or block any device from the Service, at any time and at our discretion — including content flagged by the community through the in-app report tools, and anything vulgar, unlawful, or in breach of the Community Rules. We try to be fair; we don’t promise to be slow.

6. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

break any law, or post content that does;
harass, threaten, or target any person — see the Community Rules;
scrape, harvest, or redistribute listing data or other content from the Service;
reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service;
impersonate any person, agent, or organization, or misrepresent an affiliation;
use the Service to advertise or solicit without our written permission.

7. Intellectual property

The Avocado Toast name, logo, app, and site design belong to Selleck Ventures LLC. Listing data, map, and photo imagery belong to their respective providers and are used under license. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the app; nothing else is granted.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, availability, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Selleck Ventures LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the past twelve months, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

If your content or your use of the Service causes a third party to bring a claim against us, you agree to indemnify Selleck Ventures LLC for the resulting losses and reasonable costs.

11. Ending things

You can stop using the Service anytime. We may suspend or end access for any device that violates these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (your content license, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.

13. Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do, and meaningful changes will be noted in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
